Financial Literacy, like being protected in childhood, should be a right, not a privilage. For all of the subjects we teach in school, Financial Literacy is something that all teens and young people should be exposed to and should have a firm grasp on by the time they graduate from High School. The Money Mentor Movement was started by a women who was rasied by a financially literate single mother. She felt her life changed through education, and being the first one in her extended family to attend and graduate collage she wanted to pass it on. She had to learn to protect herself and teaching what she knew to others was always part of the plan. Finally graduating from UCLA, top of her class, with multiple majors, and speaking at the Department commencement ceremonies as the keynote speaker, Sarah has lived a life of service. Eventually she was paired up with a design team who, while top of their feild, came from educated parents, as well. After that, they made it their mission that no one would have to go through what they went through just to learn to live, grow and survive. And Money Mentor™ and one of the countries premiere learning systems called Money Mentor High School ™ was born.
